Hi family,
Great news, his very own room!! Bet he'll have a TV now and maybe that will help. His own room will be so much better for all of you (at least there should be a chair to sit in while you visit); now if only Mark could be convinced to stop being his own doctor, it should be much smoother sailing from now on.
Is there anything the rest of us can do to encourage him? Funny cards, pictures, flowers, e-mails, a letter telling him to "straighten up and fly right" (HaHa? Any other ideas?

Betty, we are so happy to hear Mark is making progress. We were out of town on vacation when he had his accident and did not hear about it until National Neighbor night. My Mom has him on a world wide prayer list and your family is in our prayers everyday. Let me know if you can use a new face or shoulder to help out in any way, I will send Tommy over (Ha). We will all be blessed to see Mark's smiley face and hear his light hearted giggle.

Praise Jesus for the news. I haven't been on as much as I would like to, because Wally has been at Touchstone Neuro Rehab Center for the last 2 1/2 months. I was so happy to see how Mark is doing. Scott has kept me informed some and I was always glad to hear about what Jesus is doing for your family. He is Marks guardian angel as he is Wally's. I know what you mean about being with him and lying your head beside him. Wally's accident was March 20th and I have not been away from him much at all. I have been staying in Conroe at a R.V. park and I really believe he needed me there. They are our love's and our lives and nothing else really matters, except for them to recover and come home to our family as soon as they possibly can. You are such a loving and devoted family. Jesus will bless you all.
Wally finally came home Wednesday after 5 months in one hospital or another. We were all so happy as is himself. He was so tired of being away from home. We Praise Jesus daily for his continued recovery. I know we have a long road ahead of us, but we are traveling that road together and God is blessing our path. We went out with our family last night and celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary and my birthday as it's the same day. It was the best birthday and anniversary that I ever had. Things will continue to progress and Jesus will continue to bless you and your family. Keep the faith and closeness and you will never be abandoned. God Bless from our family to yours. Janet Odom
