Mark's Back!!!!!
Well, for the most part..... it is amazing!!!!! Tonight Mark was putting on his head phones and trying to figure out the IPOD Bruce gave him. Listening to his music has been a real comfort. He also fed himself some of his dinner. He had a hard time getting the food to stay on the fork. His arms are weak, but just the effort...fantastic. He pulled out one of the IV sites while I went to get something to eat. His nurse said he had enough snap to apply pressure to stop the bleeding. He wants to pick all the tape off, all over his body. I think he is a tad bored. He has not gotten the fact that he can not just get out off bed. Karen and Scott talked to him on the phone.....his response were normal. I got more kisses.......Lot's of them. His spark is back..... his color..... and the smile. What a pleasure......I have so much to be thankful for. God is continuing to bless our family. Betty

God is awesome! Sounds like things are really rolling along now, its still a long journey ahead, but with continued prayer and support it won't be long til Marks taking care of himself. Wow, Betty! We're excited as much for you as we are Mark! It's so wonderful to "hear" your happiness and joy coming through your writing. What a relief you must feel, to see the husband you knew 6 weeks ago being himself again. I know the six weeks must have felt like 6 years, and although more struggles lie ahead, I think they will fly by like the wind. With Mark's determination to get up, maybe that will be a driving force for his rehabilitation!
You're doing GREAT!!! Keep trusting God to get you through today. I like what The Message (bible) says in Matthew 6:36 "Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes."
Mark...your progress is amazing! We continue to pray and between you and God, we are being blown away! Keep up the good work...and stop pulling out your IV's!!!

p.s. even Kayla (6) is asking about you, since she's been with me a couple times when I've come. She'll ask "How's Mr. Mark today?" Her and Travis want to see you, but I tell them they have to wait a little longer. So know that even the kids are praying for you to get "all better!"
Sallie Craig-Rovin Texans.....Have been following Mark's progress daily. So happy he is getting along so good. With alot of prayers and his wonderful family behind him he's going to be just fine. I add him to my prayers...extra ones just for him. Stay positive....with alot of rehab help he is going to be ok...
