Today, Scott his brother took him for a long walk up and down the street in the wheel chair and they watched football together. It's nice to see him out of bed......and his picky eating is coming back as he called me up and asked for food from any fast food place........so his appetite is back!!!!
Yes, please do come visit.......or at least call......as he is getting bored!!!! He's even asked me to bring the newspaper tomorrow and wants me to bring some books from home....Thank goodness he dos'nt have the internet at TIRR ...or he would be shopping on e-bay!!!!!
Thank you all, for all the wonderful blessings sent our way. Betty

Sounds like he had a really good day. I can feel the excitement in your writing about Mark being more like his normal self. Its great to read such good news, especially after having just prayed for Mark and you again, and then reading this and knowing God is listening and answering prayers. I wonder how many people have prayed for your family tonight, I would bet a whole lot. I think we would all be amazed at the large number. Well God bless and good night. God is so good. Love and prayers, Sallie, Scott & Noah Keaton
Went to see mark last night, what a blessing to see him sitting up in bed and enjoying a football game. He is such a humble man, to imagine that he was so amazed that so many people cared so deeply for him, he just couldn't believe all the cards and caring that has come to him in his "lost weeks".
Surly God has great and mighty plans for such a blssed man.
We love you mark.
And Betty: not to forget the wonderful wife, the virtuous woman that has been a great exmple of strength and believing for her husband and family, never loosing her faith in Gods power.

So glad to hear Mark is doing better. I phoned him last week after Walter @ Lyondell said it was okay to call Mark and wish him well, and Mark sounded great! When I first learned of Mark's accident I asked our church secretary at St. Mary's in League City to add him to our prayer list. I have been watching Mark's progress via the blog and he is living proof of the power of prayer!
Next time I get together with the guys @ Lyondell for lunch @ Brother-In-Laws BBQ I'd like to get an extra "to-go" lunch and bring it to him.

Hi,
I am Pastor Jim Abbott of Immanuel Lutheran in Brenham. Don and Glenda have been keeping us up to date and I just wanted to let you know that you have been in our prayers since July. It is good to hear of your progress and I know they do great work at TIRR.
Peace,
Jim
Mark, if you had a message from all the Pastors of all the churches, whose prayer lists you are on, you'd have a lot of reading to do!!! It is so inspiring to see messages like the last one, giving us a better reality picture of how many people are really out there praying that don't even know you, but know someone who is connected to you.
I know of four churches connected through my family who are praying for you and none of them know you, just me! They continuously ask how you're doing, some are even keeping updated with the blog! (Which, by the way, hasn't been updated for 3 days....but who's counting!)
We love you so much and can't wait to see you come home. Love, Sheryl
